Back in 1817, what is today the Parkhotel Margna was built as a patrician villa which has seen both expansion and careful renovation over the years. The hotel tells an exciting story that can be felt in every room.

The Parkhotel Margna is located on the light and sunny plain between Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana in Graubünden Experience the intense positive energy and the soothing climate of Sils, a place full of mystical powers.

Sustainability at the Parkhotel Margna

Our guests at the Parkhotel Margna have seven charging points available to them for electric cars or plug-in hybrids in the new underground car park. But for us, sustainability goes beyond e-mobility. When it comes to selecting food, we also place great emphasis on regional products. And thanks to cooperation with BWT AQUA AG, we obtain our drinking water directly from a fresh water source in the Upper Engadine, and carbonate it for those who prefer it sparkling. Regionality is also important when it comes to selecting wines, with these being obtained directly from local wine growers. We took an important and costly step towards climate neutrality in autumn 2019 when we stopped using oil for heating: the hotel's heating system was converted to use the more environmentally friendly wood pellets produced in Switzerland. Domestic hydropower is also used.
