Winter sport

Those mountains! No wonder winter sport was invented here. The sun-drenched Upper Engadine is the largest winter sport region in Switzerland. No skier or snowboarder could possibly be blasé about 88 different runs! The free local bus can take you to the valley station of the Furtschellasbahn cable car in just under 10 minutes. Or join the cross-country ski trail network straight from the hotel and experience an alpine plateau that truly is one of a kind. It goes without saying that the Engadine is a hikers' paradise, and not just in summer. Immerse yourself in the snow-covered winter forests of the Upper Engadine.

Cross-country skiers appreciate our heated ski and waxing room and are able to join the network of Engadin Skimarathon trails right from the hotel. A free local bus can take downhill skiers to the valley station of the Furtschellas/Corvatsch ski resort in a just a few minutes. The St. Moritz/Corviglia and Diavolezza/Lagalb resorts are also just a stone's throw away.

Cross-country skiing

Enjoy as much cross-country skiing as you like in a unique landscape with over 220 kilometres of trails. It's no surprise that around 13,000 cross-country skiing enthusiasts make the pilgrimage to this southern high valley in the Alps each year to take part in the world-famous Engadin Skimarathon.

Ski & Snowboard

The four large ski resorts of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz, along with five others, offer winter sport enthusiasts a total of 350 km of slopes. Thanks to its altitude and modern snow-making systems, Engadin St. Moritz is a very reliable ski resort in terms of snow.

Snowshoe tours

There's a special charm attached to exploring untouched forests and snow-covered plains with snowshoes on your feet. The perfect change for those looking for peace and relaxation far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Equestrian sport

Engadin St. Moritz offers a wide range of enchanting bridleways and professional stables, whether for experienced riders with or without their own horse, amateur riders, or guests who simply want to experience the valley by "getting on their high horse".

Ice sports

In winter, there is an ice rink in every village for curling, ice hockey, Bavarian curling and ice skating. Ice skating rinks are free. Curling and ice hockey pitches can be hired (please book!). Many ice rinks are also open in the evening.

Sledging

In addition to shorter runs and easy routes for a carefree slip and slide, the Engadin St. Moritz region also has official runs that are anything but run-of-the-mill.
