Location & directions to the Upper Engadine

In the middle of the smaller and older of the two hamlets, Sils-Baselgia, in the Upper Engadine and almost in Italy, the 4-star superior Parkhotel Margna is in a prime location. Arrival by car

The easiest way to get to Sils-Baselgia and the Parkhotel Margna is from Chur via the Julier Pass to Silvaplana. From there it's a three-minute drive in the direction of Maloja. Please note that you should not come off until the 2nd exit (marked Sils-Baselgia). You can take the car train from Klosters to the Engadine through the Vereina Tunnel to Susch/Lavin (Lower Engadine). Continue towards St. Moritz, Maloja. Our underground car park has 43 parking spaces for guests, seven of which are electric charging stations (CHF 15 per day).

Arrival by train

By SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) to Chur and from there by RhB (Rhaetian Railway) to St. Moritz. Change to the Engadine bus, line 2 or 4, in the direction of Maloja, getting off in Sils-Baselgia. With supersaver tickets and Saver Day Passes, you can enjoy great-value travel by public transport. You can save up to 70 % if you book up to six months in advance. Supersaver tickets and Saver Day Passes are available on SBB.ch or via SBB Mobile. It is best to have your luggage sent from home and delivered to the 4-star superior Parkhotel Margna. For even greater convenience, our hotel's own shuttle service is available to take you to and from St. Moritz train station (cost not included).
