Cable cars and mountain railways in the Upper Engadine

In summer, guests staying two or more nights will benefit from use of the Upper Engadine cable cars and mountain railways free of charge. The area of validity for dogs is limited. Please contact our Recepziun for further information.

In winter you get the ski pass for CHF 47/day from the first night, provided you buy it at our hotel and for the whole stay. This is possible both in advance and directly on site.

The South Eastern Alps, of which the Upper Engadine forms a part, were formed from the folding of tectonic plates and have borne witness to millions of years of history. The most famous peaks have shaped – and continue to shape – mountaineering history, especially the Piz Bernina (4049 m).

One can only marvel at this unique composition of narrow ridges, sharp peaks and the ever-changing blue of the mountain lakes. The massif around the high Engadine valley is not short of highlights: imposing glaciers, views of the “Ballroom of the Alps” with its three and four thousand-metre peaks and the Engadine lakes, shining like silver in the valley.
