The easiest way to reach Sils-Baselgia and the Parkhotel Margna from Chur is via the Julier Pass to Silvaplana, and from there it is about a three-minute drive towards Maloja. Please note that you should take the second exit (signposted Sils-Baselgia). By car train, you can reach the Engadin from Klosters via the Vereina Tunnel to Susch/Lavin (Lower Engadin). Continue towards St. Moritz and Maloja.

Yes, the Parkhotel Margna has plenty of parking spaces.

There are only a few free outdoor parking spaces. These are intended for short-term parking whilst loading and unloading.

The Parkhotel Margna has 57 rooms and suites, all of which have been refurbished, renovated or newly built.

All rooms are equipped with the following amenities:

The Parkhotel Margna boasts three distinct restaurants offering fine dining, ensuring culinary variety and a welcome choice of dishes and atmospheres. The Restorant dal Parc, with its Stüvetta da Segl, is the heart of Margna’s dining experience. Here, guests gather for an Alpine breakfast and, in the evening, for a four-course dinner or to enjoy Margna’s classic dishes.

In the Stüva 1817, with its wonderful scent of Swiss stone pine, we serve you delicious Graubünden and South Tyrolean Alpine cuisine, some of which has been given a modern twist.

The Enoteca & Osteria Murütsch in the Genusskeller is our former coachmen’s room. In the historic vaulted cellar, guests can enjoy typical Italian dishes and wines from our southern neighbour.

Manuel Telser has been head chef at the Parkhotel Margna since June 2022 and, together with his kitchen team, is responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a delightful culinary experience. He brings with him a wealth of experience gained both at home and abroad. Born in South Tyrol, with a family background in the hospitality industry, he is now firmly established in the Engadin.

Yes, hotel guests can choose from a selection of 10 dishes to create their own four-course evening meal. The menu costs CHF 65 per person per day and is served at the Restaurant dal Parc or the Stüvetta da Segl.

Yes, that’s exactly why we created the Gourmet Carousel – a journey through Margna’s culinary delights. This offer is also available to non-hotel guests.

You can enjoy the Gourmet Carousel over three evenings for CHF 235 per person. This price includes:

• a 3-course à la carte menu at Stüva
• a 3-course à la carte menu at Enoteca & Osteria Murütsch
• a 4-course evening menu at Restorant dal Parc

Drinks and additional courses are not included.

We have a children’s menu and a special selection of dishes for our younger guests.

All our restaurants are fully equipped with high chairs, children’s tableware and so on.

Yes, our popular hotel bar with its open fire is the heart of our patrician house. Our head barman, Ivan Fanchi, is passionate about crafting bespoke cocktails. Jazz is played every Thursday evening. Adjacent to the hotel bar is our Chadafö veglia lounge, where every seating area offers a perfect view of the open fire.

The adjoining Biblioteca is a retreat for quiet conversations and cosy moments.

Yes, right next to the Chadafö veglia fireplace room is our Biblioteca, which features a carefully curated selection of books in various languages and board games, which guests are welcome to borrow or use during their stay.

The venerable vaulted cellar has been restored with great respect for the history of the Parkhotel Margna and returned to its original condition. It has been transformed into the ‘Genusskeller’ (Cellar of Delights), a cosy venue for social gatherings, featuring the Enoteca & Osteria Murütsch, the Fümuar, the Vinoteca and the cinema with games room.

Our spa, ‘la Funtauna’ (Romansh for ‘the spring’), offers a range of massages and wellness treatments, as well as a wet zone featuring a sanarium, Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath with aromatherapy, sensory showers, waterfall showers and a Kneipp zone. Two open-air terraces and a relaxation room with comfortable loungers are available for cooling off and unwinding. In the fitness room, equipped with Nohrd cardio and strength training machines, guests enjoy superb views of the mountains.

Our wellness area is open daily from 12 noon to 8 pm.

Yes, we offer a wide range of massages, rituals and beauty treatments using the ‘Sacred Nature’ skincare range.

Yes, non-hotel guests are also welcome here. For just CHF 36 per day per person, you can use our fitness and wellness facilities from 12 noon to 7 pm. If you purchase a 10-visit pass (personal and non-transferable), you’ll receive the 11th visit free of charge.

Included are a spa bag containing a bathrobe, slippers, shower gel and shampoo.

Yes, we’d be happy to help you with your luggage on arrival and departure.

Yes, we have a room where we can store your luggage safely.

Yes, we offer a standard service within 24 hours and a same-day express service for an additional 50% charge (laundry must be dropped off by 10 am).

Yes, we offer a wake-up service and will call you up personally from the reception if you ask us to do so the night before.

Thanks to the new, modern lift, all floors of the former patrician house and the central building are accessible without steps. Two Deluxe double rooms are fully equiped barrier-free; this option is also available at the Margna Suite on request. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or to make a booking by telephone.

Yes, for barrier-free access, please use the entrance below the large stone staircase. The lift will take you to reception and the restaurants.

Yes, dogs are welcome here, provided they are house-trained. Dogs are allowed almost everywhere in the hotel. The exceptions are the Restaurant dal Parc, the spa area and the golf course. If you would like to bring your dog with you for breakfast, please let us know in good time so that we can set a table for you in the Stüvetta da Segl. Please note that your dog must be kept under the table in the restaurants so as not to disturb the service or other guests.

Yes, if you would like to leave your dog alone in the room, please hang the dog sign on the door so that the housekeeping staff do not disturb your four-legged friend.

We charge an additional daily fee of CHF 30 for your dog (excluding food). For any extra cleaning required due to heavy soiling, we charge CHF 50 per hour.
