The Engadine is a natural paradise for hiking and for mountain biking. The hiking and biking trails start right outside the hotel door. Mountain bikes can be rent directly at the front desk, and there is a bike room with a washing and repair area in the hotel. The Engadin lake district is also an Eldorado for sailors, windsurfers and kitesurfers. The high valley is particularly beautiful during the mountain spring in June, when the air is fresh and colourful meadows full of alpine flowers delight hikers.
